Birthday wishlist

It is my birthday month finally!
Honestly I really love birthdays and started counting down right after Christmas.
Birthday after you passed your mid 20s comes with a mixed feeling for me.
I'm happy because it is my birthday (duh!) but I'm sad too because I'm soon approaching the big 30 wtf. Feel so ancient now.

Birthday has different meaning to me now that I'm fully an adult. It is no longer about partying, how many Facebook birthday messages you get or who remember your birthday and who doesn't? Now it is all about being grateful to be able to turn a year older, maintain healthy and being the better person that I was before.

The highlight of birthday is of course it is the one day out of 366 days that you get to be spoiled. Hahahaha you're the big boss on your birthday and of course the gifts. It is the day that you will get shower with wishes and gifts.

Anyway, this year I came up with a short list of the things that I want for my birthday. Actually it is my Christmas list that I carried forward to my birthday. Something that I would love to own and definitely will spend my money on.

Can you see how pretty the dUCk planner is? I fell for the soft and feminine color of the planner when it was first launched in FashionValet. I have planner from Muji for 2015 but I still use now. It is very useful because that's where I wrote down my blog ideas, travel plans and even my financial target and monthly budget. I had seen the dUCk planner layout and pages, so pretty guys! It even comes with inspirational quotes and illustrations as well as voucher for their partner brands.
It retails at RM120 from FashionValet

2) Nike Roshe

This is something new for me because I don't dig girls wearing sneaker for outing until last year. Blame it on Kendall Jenner but she makes it look so effortless and stylish. And most important thing, it is comfortable. I was really close to get one while I was in Hong Kong. We were walking around Sneaker Street and I was in my ankle boot which hurt my feet so much that I succumbed and bought a Nike Air Max to wear on the spot. I did tried to look for Roshe but mostly sold out in my size (size 4, by the way). Until next two days we went to Harbour City and I was in another Nike store. They stocks the Roshe that I want (plain solid color) in my size and way cheaper than my Air Max.

Dulan to the max la. I can't be greedy and get another sneaker so I passed at the chance. Now that I'm back here in Sibu, I still think about the Roshe. I'm too stingy to get it myself , maybe I can get it as a gift? hehehhe

3) Shopaholic to the Rescue by Sophie Kinsella

The Shopaholic series is my favorite book when I was younger. I love it so much that I even blogged about it before back in 2010. I had every books in this series except the new one. It feels like I'm growing up with Becky Bloomwood, from where she confessed her shopping addiction, met her now husband, got married, discovered she has half sister, moving abroad, got pregnant and so on, I've read it all. Except the latest book, Shopaholic to the Rescue.

It is the continuation from Shopaholic to the Star because in the last book, the story sort of hanging there. I would really love to add the new book to my collection and reminiscing about the good times I had reading Becky Bloomwood.

I can't think of anything else to add to the list. So that's all for now.

Dream Trip to Macau

I'm never one of those people whom catch on the Korean fever when it hits since few years ago. In fact the only Korean drama that I've ever watch is Boys Over Flower. I vividly remember one of the scene of the series was shot at Venetian Macau.

How spectacular is this view?

Since my obsession with Boys Over Flower, Macau has become one of my must-go places. Just look at the photo above, how beautiful is this place? It is postcard perfect and will be an awesome Instagram feed. It might be my first ever Instagram feed that will make it to the popular feed hehe. I'm not a cheesy person but by just looking at this gorgeous view, I can already feel that love is definitely in the air in Venetian. Not trying to hint anything but would this be a perfect spot for a proposal? Come on, a girl can always dream.

Beside the romantic air in Venetian, another reason for me to wanting to visit Macau so much is the Macau Tower. It provides the world highest commercial Bungy Jump facility. I've always scare of height but after my skycab adventure at Langkawi, I have sort of loving the thrill of descending from a great height. Bungy jumping will be totally different from sky cab of course. I already can imagine the adrenaline rush and excitement of jumping of the world highest bungy jump ever. This is will the proudest moment in my life although my parents will not agree with me on this :p

The Ruins of St. Paul

I can't believe how beautiful the shot of The Ruins of St. Paul that I've found online. When it comes to travelling, exploring the local attraction is high on my list. Macau is well-known for its spectacular churches such as Chapel of St. Francis Xavier, Chapel of St. Michael and of course The Ruins of St. Paul. It will be such an eye opening experience to be able to set my foot on those magnificent buildings and learn about its past. Besides that, Macau has many UNESCO listed heritage sites which makes me want to visit Macau even more.

And maybe my dream can come true if I wish for it hard enough, the visiting Macau part yeah, not the proposal part :) Well, Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang Malaysia might be able to make my dream come true as Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is sending of 3 lucky bloggers on a 3D2N all expenses paid holiday to explore the city.

Finger cross I can be selected to be one of the lucky winner. For more info about Macau, do head over to Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) and Nuffnang Malaysia.

Off the list

Remember this post about my first list of lust that I've wrote for over a year ago? Well, this is a follow up post of that entry. After over a year, I have finally crossed two items off the list.

1) Sigma Mrs. Bunny Travel Kit

I bought this some time after I wrote that blogpost and I have never regretted it. Yes, it was a tad pricy even though I got it for 30% off Luxola but it was the best investment ever because I put on make up daily and it has never shed a single hair before. The bristle still so soft even after a year and I clean it weekly with make up brush cleaner.

2) Prada Saffiano Leather wallet

This one is my recent purchase. Before this I never actually thought of purchasing designer wallet, it was just a dream to own one. But after one too many damaged and tear wallets later on, I've decided it is time to invest in one that I can use for years.

Even before I step into Prada, I already know what I want. So I went straight to the display case and ohhh-ing ahh-ing over the Saffiano wallet. The SA suddenly put a similar one in front of me and told me that it is the latest Saffiano wallet with colours combo: peonia, light pink and white. Don't quote me on the colours name because I might get it wrong.

I was contemplating between the classic Saffiano and the multicolored one. As if she could read my mind, the SA blurted out: "You already have the answer, just go for it"
With a little push like that, I brought home my multicolored Saffiano.

Two items off the list, now I shall work towards the rest.

My bags wishlist

This was taken from my Dayre two days ago and edited.
************************************************

That is what I look like for the past few days.

I'm in love.

But not with a person. With a thing.

A bag, to be precise.

Philip Lim 3.1 Mini Pashli Satchel

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what look at first sight looks like.

Since I'm on the topic of bag, I might as well list down my dream bags wishlist. Some more I've spent the whole night googling for info about these bags eg. what leather are these bags are made of, where to buy cheaper (UK or US), what are the seasonal colors etc.

My list is not in chronicle order, I don't mind which one I got first as long as I got it. But frankly, I'm gravitate toward Balenciaga more. So, I'll start with it.

"Balenciaga Giant 12 City"

Is this color shocking you guys? Lol. If I were to invest in a designer handbag, I don't think I will settle for black color, unless if I already have one and shop for a second one. Since Balenciaga is all about color, I'll pick this shocking pink (Rose Thulian). Reason being, it is a perfect everyday bag for work and since I mostly wear black and dull color, this bag for sure will stand out. Even for just 5 minutes walking distance from car park into my office hahaha.

Back track a bit, when I showed the bf the Philip Lim 3.1, he said the color (red) will hard to match with my outfit. I brushed him off and told him that the bag itself is a statement, it doesn't have to match my outfit. And he ignored me. Pfft..

On the contrary, this color got my attention too.

With the gold hardware

Actually I love all of the Balenciaga City colors. Some are bold, some are subtle. It is impossible to just choose one.

See?!

"Celine Nano"

Such a beautiful baby. This cobalt blue is screaming my name. Again, with such designer handbag, the color and the design itself are bold enough for your entire outfit. The size too is perfect for everyday on the go girl.

"Chloe Paraty"

For this one, I'll go with white. Every girl should have at least one white handbag for those tone down days. This is effortlessly chic to match with any outfit.

The bags that I've listed are quite high on my list. Of course there are other bags that I would love to have too. I have my list done, next step is to save my money for it. One step at a time, a bag in a year.

Knockoff

Every girls have their dream bags. The bag that you keep thinking about, the bag that you have been saving every penny for. Some spent huge amount of times stalking and scrolling through social media to admire their dream bags. Some went on advance research mode and started bookmarking forum and websites regarding their dream bags. Don't tell me I am the only one doing this.

Now that I'm earning my own moolah, the road to own my dream bags (yes, it's bagsss) should be nearer each day. Sadly for me, the road only getting nearer by an inch, can't blame myself. Putting down my hard earned money on a designer bag is still not really high on my priority. My dad will be really proud of me if he read that last sentence. I'm not in a rush and still saving for it.

I refuse to go down the path of knockoff. Or the fancy word inspired.

I have a Mango bag which is inspired from Givenchy Antigona. When I first bought it, I have no idea it was an inspired piece until I saw a video in Youtube featuring Givenchy Antigona. By then it was too late,I already bought the bag. So I inspected it further and realized it is really just an inspired piece, not one-to-one copied from the Antigona. Phewww...

But it is a different story for this bag

Totally knockoff for RM509.90 with the exact brand name sold at my local department store. I pity Michael Kors or his designer.

So, what's your stand on this? Share with me if you don't mind.

List of Lust #1

I have been eyeing this Sigma beauty brush since last 2 months but Luxola was out of stock of this. A while ago, I received an email from Luxola stating that Mrs. Bunny Travel Kit is now back on stock and they have 15% off for your first time shopping with them. The offer is very tempting but I'm aware that I can live without that now and I have vacations in June and July that I should save up for.

Ahhh, a pink Prada Saffiano leather wallet. Something that will look nice in my bag but will burn a big hole in my pocket.

This is not something that I fell in love with immediately but after a few times seeing the celebrities toting this and the Jenner sisters instagram-ing their Celine bags, I couldn't help but to develop interest in this sought after IT bag. 2 days ago I was doing my grocery shopping in a local mall, I stumbled upon a Celine inspired bag by Summit, I knew I have to have it. At much cheaper price and still stylish, it will be perfect for work or leisure. Finger cross the bag will still available till next week.

I'm aware how the price is escalating as my list grow longer but pardon me, this perfect bag had been on my list since long time ago. And it will stay there until I move it to my closet maybe in the next 2 years or more.
